Design and Make Centre, Cornwall LEA: Design and Technology Programme for Primary Teachers

Aim

To develop a programme of training and resources to support design and technology in primary schools

Background

Bringing together the experience of the Design and Making Centre and the Technology Enhancement Programme (TEP), the project is developing flexible and easy to use in-service training packages which may be used by initial teacher training establishments, newly-qualified teachers and others to develop teacher confidence and expertise in the important field of primary design and technology. A range of curriculum projects is being developed to complement the professional development.
